Sometimes Less is More

Rejoice offers a different approach to IVF than most clinics. 95% of our IVF cycles are either Natural Cycle IVF (retrieving the single egg produced in an unmedicated cycle) or Mini-stim IVF (using a combination of clomid pills and low dose injections with the aim of retrieving 3-8 eggs). Many of our patients are concerned about fertilizing an excessive number of eggs and so are we!

Excellence Matters

Since many of our patients wish to limit the number of fertilized eggs to 6-8 (as opposed to the 20-30 in most clinics), every egg matters even more than usual. Our IVF Laboratory is accredited by The Joint Commission and we perform rigorous QA/QC to ensure the very best care for every embryo. We are a “no discard” program so every viable embryo is either transferred in the same cycle in which it was fertilized or it is frozen for use in a future cycle. We do not offer Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) of embryos.

Frequently Asked Questions

The 3 types of IVF are distinguished by what drugs (if any) are used and how many eggs/embryos will be produced. Natural Cycle IVF uses no fertility medications and results in a single egg. Mini-Stim IVF uses very mild stimulation medications (pills and 2-3 shots) resulting in 2-5 eggs. Stimulated Cycle IVF uses 10-14 days of fertility shots with a goal of 8-15 eggs.

The cost per cycle (not including medication) ranges from under $6,000 for Natural Cycle IVF to $13,445 for Stimulated Cycle IVF. The medication costs for Stimulated Cycle IVF can be $2,000-5,000.

No, some patients will clearly be candidates only for Natural Cycle IVF whereas others will be best served by Stimulated Cycle IVF.

In vitro fertilization (IVF) was first successfully performed in Oldham, England in 1978, resulting in the birth of Louise Brown, who was conceived using Natural Cycle IVF (NC-IVF).

More than 10 million children have been born using IVF worldwide.
