Every embryo is as unique as a frozen snowflake
Embryo adoption follows traditional adoption best practices. Donated embryos are matched with adoptive families, who then undergo frozen embryo transfer (FET) to attempt pregnancy and ultimately give birth to their adopted child.
To protect everyone involved, adoptive families complete a home study. This process provides education, preparation, and reassurance—giving embryo donors confidence that their embryos are being placed in a carefully screened and supportive home.

Embryo Adoption vs. Embryo Donation
Embryo adoption programs differ significantly from embryo donation programs offered by fertility clinics. While clinic-based donation programs primarily focus on the medical process, embryo adoption agencies take a more comprehensive approach—considering the emotional, relational, and social aspects for both donor and adoptive families.
A key distinction is openness. Embryo adoption often encourages some level of connection between families, allowing children to better understand their biological background. In contrast, embryo donation programs typically prioritize anonymity, with little to no information shared between donors and recipients.
