My name is Dr. John David Gordon, and I’m thrilled to share what sets our practice apart.

It is hard for me to believe, but 2026 will be my 30th year practicing in the field of infertility. It
has been my joy and privilege to help so many couples walking along the difficult road that is infertility.

In 2019, after 20 years in the DC area at a large IVF program performing over 1,500 IVF cycles annually — my wife and I felt called to take a leap of faith and we relocated to beautiful East Tennessee. Rejoice Fertility was created with a clear vision: to deliver an unparalleled patient experience where couples could openly discuss their moral, ethical, spiritual, and religious concerns about reproductive medicine.

Since then, we’ve grown beyond all expectations — even through a worldwide pandemic. We’ve expanded our nursing and IVF laboratory teams, and more local patients are discovering they don’t have to leave Knoxville for excellent fertility care. We’re also drawing patients from across the country who are seeking something rare: a clinic that pairs outstanding technical care with a willingness to engage the deeper questions IVF can raise. We proudly serve patients of all faiths and backgrounds, while allowing our own faith to guide how we practice.

In 2024, we moved into a brand new, 10,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility — built from the ground up to give our patients the best possible experience.

In 2026, we are excited to announce the opening of a new satellite location and the addition of a new physician to increase our availability to patients wanting a different approach to fertility care and IVF. We are also pleased to announce the launch of Rejoice Embryo Rescue (RER). RER was created to support clinics and patients who wish to relinquish embryos so that other couples can give these frozen lives a chance. All matching of donors and recipients is performed by our affiliated faith-based embryo adoption organizations. Frozen embryo transfers can be performed at Rejoice Fertility or at a clinic chosen by the recipient couple. Come experience a different kind of fertility practice. We rejoice in our differences!
