Dr. Susan Sarajari

Reproductive Endocrinologist

Dr. Sarajari graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee with a BS in Microbiology. She earned her MD and PhD in Cell Biology & Anatomy from The Chicago Medical School, where she received multiple honors, including a scholarship for academic excellence. During her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UCLA, she served as Chief Resident and earned the Resident Achievement Award and Best Resident Teacher Award. She also completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at UCLA, where she conducted research in oocyte cryopreservation. Following her fellowship, Dr. Sarajari became an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Dr. Sarajari has practiced in the field of infertility for nearly 20 years including 11 years at Dominion Fertility in Arlington, VA. She returned to Knoxville in 2026 to practice once again alongside Dr. John David Gordon who is Medical Director at Rejoice Fertility.

Dr. Sarajari has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” for infertility by Northern Virginia Magazine and “America’s Top Obstetricians & Gynecologists” by the Consumers’ Research Council of America. She was also honored as “Top Educator of the Month” by the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, Inova Campus. Fluent in German and medical Spanish.

Dr. Sarajari continues to be actively involved in medical education. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the UTHSC College of Medicine – Knoxville.

Dr. Sarajari will be seeing patients at our Knoxville and Mount Juliet/Nashville locations.
