Tyl Taylor, PhD, HCLD

Lab Director

Dr. Tyl Taylor, PhD, HCLD holds a doctorate in Genetics from the University of Kent, England, and is a board-certified
Laboratory Director through the American Association of Bioanalysts. With more than
25 years of experience across leading reproductive medicine programs in Atlanta, Philadelphia,
and Charlotte, he has built a career defined by clinical excellence and pioneering innovation.

In Atlanta, Dr. Taylor was part of the team that developed oocyte vitrification, a foundational
advance in modern IVF. He later served as Director of Preimplantation Genetic Testing in
Philadelphia, where, in collaboration with Reprogenetics, he was directly responsible for the first
live birth resulting from an embryo screened using Next-Generation Sequencing.

Most recently, as Laboratory Director at the largest fertility clinic in the Carolinas, Dr. Taylor and
his team developed an ultrafast warming protocol that has since reshaped cryo-survival standards
across the field, contributing to meaningfully improved embryo and oocyte survival rates and
pregnancy outcomes.
